Bye Bye Blackbird Gallery

Award winning photographer with over 10 years experience, Sarah curates the Bye Bye Blackbird Gallery. Sarah proudly showcases the incredible talent pool of regional artists, in addition to working as Programs and Relationships Assistant for Eastern Riverina Arts, Wagga Wagga. 

She hosts the Gallery’s Photo & Art Exchange, first Wednesday evenings of each month as a way for local photographers and artists to connect, network and exchange creative ideas in a like minded and supportive environment.

Lyn studied full time for two years at the renowned Gordon Institute of 

Technology in Geelong during the 

1960s. She has worked in many  mediums including fibre, designing  and producing garments and  accessories. Currently her work is  focused on the changing seasons,  broad acres and the big skies of  Cootamundra.

Having traveled extensively throughout Australia, he still marvels at the beauty of the red center. Chris is also deeply inspired by the landscape of the Flinders Ranges and Southwest QLD. Chris has traveled the iconic tracks of Birdsville, the Oodnadatta and the Strzelecki. With easel in tow, Chris regularly paints onsite authentically capturing the magic of the Australian scenery.

His unique style is created using acrylic paints on canvas with predominantly pallet knives.

Anne has been an artist all her life, surrounded by family that embraced artistic expression and endeavour. Experimenting with a range of creative mediums, Anne has developed her art with the guidance of many wonderful artists and tutors over many years. One such artist, Margaret Ryan, an amazing illustrator and friend, has encouraged and formed the artist Anne is, and the artist she is evolving into along her inspired journey.

Eddie Andrews career as an artist is extensive and remarkable. Eddie established the Paris Creek (SA) Ceramic Studio and commenced work as a full-time potter in 1967. From there he went on to establish workshops in hot glass, flat glass, woodworking, leather and jewelry at Paris Creek. Eddie continues to create and inspire, using his timber skills to produce unique handcrafted timber keepsake boxes which are available to purchase at the Gallery.

In his later years of work, Bob took up doodling in a bid to stay awake during the many mindless meetings he had to endure. At some point the doodles became tangible enough to raise positive comments by fellow meeting attendees. As such, upon retiring to the country town of Cootamundra in 2019, he began to consider expanding doodling into drawings.
